Invisalign for Teens & Adults in Fort Saskatchewan

Removable clear aligners that straighten teeth without brackets, wires, or daily aesthetics you would rather not deal with. We recommend Invisalign when it is genuinely the right answer - and braces when it is not.

How Invisalign Works

1. Custom aligner series

A 3D scan of your teeth produces a custom set of clear aligner trays - each one moves the teeth a small, planned amount.

2. Wear 20 to 22 hours a day

Aligners come out only for eating, drinking anything but water, and brushing. The compliance is the whole job.

3. Switch trays every 1 to 2 weeks

Each new tray continues the move. Quick check-in visits every 6 to 10 weeks to confirm progress.

4. Refinement & retainers

Most cases finish with a small set of refinement trays to perfect the result, then a retainer to hold it.

Invisalign Teen

Same system, designed for teens - with compliance indicators and eruption tabs that work around still-growing mouths.

Honest fit check

Invisalign is great for the right case and frustrating for the wrong one. We will tell you which yours is at the free consult.

Invisalign or Braces - The Honest Comparison

Choose Invisalign if

Your case is mild to moderate, you (or your teen) will actually wear the trays 22 hours a day, you want the appearance benefit, and you can keep up with cleaning each tray.

Choose braces if

The case is complex, compliance is uncertain, the cost difference matters, or you'd rather not think about your treatment between visits. Braces just work.

Invisalign FAQs

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Most cases run 12 to 18 months. Simpler cases can finish in 6 to 9 months. Length depends on complexity and on wearing the trays 20 to 22 hours per day.

Will my teen actually wear Invisalign?

It varies. Rivers Edge gives an honest read at the consult based on the teen. If braces would fit better, we say so.

How much does Invisalign cost?

Comparable to traditional braces, varying with complexity. A clear estimate is provided at the free consultation, with insurance direct billing and interest-free monthly financing.

Can I eat with Invisalign trays in?

No. Trays come out for eating and for drinking anything but water, and teeth are brushed before putting them back in.

What if my teen loses an Invisalign tray?

Call right away. Usually we move to the next tray slightly early or order a replacement. Do not skip more than one tray without checking with us.
